SECOND, "Our Blessed Mother to Josefina-Maria, September, 1993, said: ‘This century many of you will see the reign of Our Two Hearts established on the earth.’ "[ 2]

THIRD, "Jesus to Josefina-Maria, November, 1993, said: ‘Children of mine, keep awake, the time is at hand for the Son of Man to come down in all His glory to rescue His people; His faithful ones. Take heed of the call of your crucified Lord before it is too late.’ "[ 3]

"In these end times heaven is weaving a GLOBAL TAPESTRY of warnings. Now, the final threads are in place with these (above) messages to Josefina-Maria....From Jesus and Mary for the entire world given to Josefina-Maria."[ 4]

FOURTH, "In December, 1994, Mary appeared to Father Gobbi and said:

In 1954 on May 31, the same "Lady of all Nations" predicted that Pope Pius XII would proclaim the dogma [Coredemptress) before his death!

In 1954 on May 31, the same day, the same "Lady" said that the bishop of Ida Peerdeman would give his permission to build the church "Our Lady " showed to Ida...!

It is claimed that Peerdeman predicted Pope Pius XII's death in October by writing the month down, sealed it, and handed it to Fr. Frehe to be opened in October. This was later contradicted on page 96 where The Lady said, "you must keep this a secret from everybody, including the Sacristan and your director." Pius XII died October 9th and after that she told her director that this was prophesied to her.

(Page 31) Now I see written 51,53. [1951-1953] "These are meteors, watch out for them!"

(Pages 77-78-79) 1953 is the year The Lady of All Nations will be declared and world destruction will happen.

[This is in reference to Pope Pius XII, and he did not accomplish it before he died, nor did the next four Popes.]

Christina, like the visionary Patricia Talbot (of El Cajas, Ecuador) has seen in a vision the anti-Christ. He seemed foreign to Christina, dark skinned. (Patricia tells us he is made from the blood of the devil and that his work has begun in an indirect way. It will become direct.)

Christina also says that darkness will cover the whole earth. Our Lady told her, "The world will be plunged into the depths of its sin and will drink of its bitterness. Fearful lightning bolts will flash such as never have been seen before." (In the next issue we will tell more about the Three Days of Darkness) Christina tells us: "Our Blessed Mother then told me to give a message to my spiritual director, to tell him to read the Seven Seals of God, especially the seventh Seal, [from the Book of Revelation] and She said: "Pray in meditation on the Passion of Jesus." After a moment's silence, Our Lady added: "The clock, its alarm is set. The hour is close. Pray, pray, pray! My child, the Purification will come. Those who have served God in His Light need not fear." Christina believes all this will happen before the year 2000.
The Monks of Adoration

There are three prophesies in Garabandal: first a world-wide WARNING that everyone will see and feel; second, a MIRACLE at Garabandal that all will see and will remain there forever; and last, the PUNISHMENT. Twenty-five years later, nothing has happened.

But let us look at them. The warning is supposed to be seen and felt by everyone in the world so that we will know our sins and repent. That being the case we have no need to be watchful and keep our lamp burning, since God will warn us in time to repent. A priest, Father Lius Andreu, is reported to have seen a vision of the coming "miracle" but died without any know cause the next day. Conchita said that his body will be found uncorrupt after the "Great Miracle".  His body has since been exposed but he is not uncorrupt.

This is the same trick Satan used in inventing "Rapture". The most important time in our life is "the moment of death". Satan wants us to think we have no reason to fear this moment; therefore, he invents things like the WARNING or the RAPTURE. The Holy Scripture tells us that Chastisements will come like a thief in the night when we least expect them. But if we have a miracle first, there is no need to be watchful.

Last, but not least, all chastisements are conditional. There is no condition in the punishment told of in the Garabandal prophesies.

There are other prophesies. The "Virgin" said that the pope and Padre Pio would see the miracle. Both are dead. She said that there would be only two more popes and that this would be the last one.  Other prophecies make it clear that this is not the last one.

Conchita insists that this is the last pope. However, according to the list of St. Malachi, the next pope will be called the Glory of the Olives. Should we believe Conchita or a saint. In fact the last Holy Father will be named "Peter". Don Bosco prophesied that a Holy Father would die during a great chastisement and a new one would quickly replace him. That has not happened yet. There was also a miracle promised on October 18th of 1961. Nothing happened. And they were told this is the last warning to be given to the world. But since then hundreds of other apparitions around the world have been warning the world of everything under the sun.

The seers of Garabandal held that the Miracle will take place on a Thursday at 8:30 p.m. on or between the eighth and the sixteenth of March, April or May. So too, St. John Bosco (d. 1888) once prophesied that "Wickedness is consumed; sin has come to an end and, before there are two full moons in the month of flowers, the rainbow of peace will appear on earth." A similar message was reiterated in 1995 by the pseudo-anonymous visionary "Sinner-Saint" (Robert Hartman): Before two full moons in the month of flowers have run its course - sin will be destroyed and peace will cover the earth. I tell you, that this month of two full moons is to occur by 1999, or earlier. The month of flowers is one of these months: March April, or May." In order for these prophecies to prove correct, they MUST occur during March of 1999, when a full moon will occur in the second and again on the thirty-first.

Hence, according to the synthetic interpretation of these prophecies, March 11, 1999 represents a particularly prime date on which to expect the Miracle.

If, however, this March runs it course without a great Miracle occurring, then we can turn our attention to the scant handful of remaining dates and deadlines that have been bandied about by Catholic apocalypticists over the last decade or so. A few alternate dates for the Miracle include April 8th, April 15th or May 13th, 1999. Equally precise is the prediction that Pope John Paul II will proclaim the "Final Marian Dogma" on May 31st (Ida Peerdeman) of 1999 (John Bosco). Finally, of course, a number of seers (e.g., Chrsitina Gallagher, Dory Tan) have averred that the entire End Time scenario-sufferings, warnings and chastisements-will play itself out prior to the year 2000.

Fr. Stefano Gobbi alleged that Our Lady told him,

"Darkness will descend upon the Church and will become even more dense after your heavenly Mother has come to get the soul of the first of her beloved sons, Pope Paul VI, who is consummating on the cross his supreme sacrifice." "As long as he lives, thanks to his grievous martyrdom, I can still hold back the arm of God's justice. But after his death, ALL WILL COME CRASHING DOWN."

Pope Paul VI died in 1978. He was succeeded by Pope John-Paul I who also died in the same year, 1978. Now according to Fr. Gobbi, the Virgin Mary told him that starting with the Papacy of John-Paul I, the Catholic Church was supposed to come crashing down. Has it? No! Again, it is asked, did Jesus not say that the gates of Hades would not prevail against His Church? Not only is this false locution a false prophecy, but it also opposes the Sacred Promise of Jesus Christ.

"In the period of ten years, there will come to the completion that fullness of time which was pointed out to you by me, beginning with La Salette all the way to my most recent and present apparitions." "In the period of ten years, there will come to the completion the time of the great tribulation, which has been foretold to you in Holy Scripture, before the second coming of Jesus."

According to Fr. Stefano Gobbi, September 11, 1998, was supposed to see the completion of all of Mary's promises that have been given to the world since the days of La Salette, including all the promises that she gave to Fr. Gobbi himself, that including the Second Coming of Jesus. As previously mentioned, the Holy Catholic Church refers to this Second Coming as the Antichrist's deception. We do not have to look far for proof of the deception. 1998 came and went - nothing happened. As a general rule, Church approved spiritual manifestations reflect a HONEST Virgin Mary. When she says she will give a sign, she gives it, such as the dancing sun in Fatima on October 13, 1917. The problem that we have here is that the Virgin Mary that Fr. Gobbi knows is one that lies, that makes broken promises, that contradicts the teachings of the Catholic Church, etc... That is not the Virgin Mary that the Holy Catholic Church promotes, nor is it the Mother of God, nor the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Marian Apparitions Forum

Fr. Stefano Gobbi alleged that the Blessed Virgin Mary, she who is immaculate in nature and from who no lies can come forth, has stated that my year 1998, the Holy Catholic Church would be a false Church, having been overtaken by a false christ.

There are a few problems with this interior locution, namely:

1. It never happened.
   
   
2. The Virgin Mary does not lie.
   
   
3. False prophecies do not come from God, nor are they heavenly inspired.
   
   
4. Such a statement serves no other purpose but to corrupt the faith of the believers, leading them to believe that the Holy Catholic Church has been overtaken by a false christ who is managing a false church. As such, it encourages the faithful to disobey the God appointed authorities of the Holy Catholic Church and the inspired teachings of the Church.

Fr. Stefano Gobbi alleged that Our Lady told him,
"During the last decade of your century, the events which I have foretold to you will have reached their completion." "During these years I am preparing you, by my motherly action, to receive the Lord who is coming." "I am preparing you for his new coming."

In consideration that this alleged private locution was given to Fr. Gobbi on January 1, 1990, the period of exactly 10 years, one decade, would have ended on December 31, 1999.

None of the events which Fr. Gobbi has alleged as coming from Our Lady since 1972 have come to pass. Christ has not been born again! The Kingdom of God did not come on earth because it was already here! The antichrist did not take over the Holy Catholic Church! And the list of deceptions continues... Such lies CANNOT originate from the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Fr. Stefano Gobbi alleged that Our Lady told him,
"I confirm to you that, by the great jubilee of the year two thousand, there will take place the triumph of my Immaculate heart, which I foretold to you at Fatima, and this will come to pass with the return of Jesus in glory, to establish his reign in the world. Thus you will at last be able to see with your own eyes the new heavens and the new earth."

This is another deception with claims of the coming triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, new heavens and a new earth and the return of Jesus in glory.

2000-MAY: Ronald O'Brien had prophesized that a dark cross would be suspended in the stratosphere between JAN-19 and JAN-31. His next prophecy was for Garabandal, Spain: all those present would be cured of infirmities and disabilities. Finally, after April, Armageddon will come. Four billion humans will die, unless the world turns to God and follows true Roman Catholicism. None came to pass.
Religious Tolerance

Like many of the neo-visionaries who are cropping up in the lee of the millennium, Mr. O'Brien is a traditionalist who doubts the validity of the liturgical reforms of Vatican II, and he is an ardent apocalypticist. So too, like so many of the fin du millènaire visionaries, Ron is convinced that he is to be the last genuine visionary before the unfolding of the eschatological scenario...

Ron has also announced that he will, in essence, validate his own prophecies by predicting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ eight days in advance. In addition to serving as the repository of this most forbidden of eschatological facts, Mr. O'Brien is also a veritable wealth of other interesting eschatological lore and exegetical 'res inauditae'. By way of example, he has predicted that the Miracle promised at Garabandal will occur on April 13, 2000. Similarly, he has claimed that Yawheh told him that Jesus was really born on January 6, 4 A.D., placing the true advent of the second millennium in the year 2004. In his comments on this date, O'Brien has hinted that this putative bi-millennial year of 2004 will also see the Second Coming.

2. ‘The priests, ministers of my Son, the priests, by their bad life, by their irreverences and their impiety in celebrating the holy mysteries, by love of money, love of honor and of pleasures, the priests have become cesspools of impurity. Yes, the priests are asking for vengeance, and vengeance is suspended over their heads. Woe to the priests and to persons consecrated to God, who by their infidelities and their bad life are crucifying anew my Son! The sins of persons consecrated to God cry out towards Heaven and call for vengeance, and see how vengeance is at their doors, because there is no longer found anyone to implore mercy and forgiveness for the people; there are no longer generous souls, there is no longer anyone worthy to offer the Victim without blemish to the Eternal on behalf of the world.’

Not "anyone"???.

The above, together with other allegations, cause me to believe that Mélanie's Lady IS referring to [all] priests who "are no longer worthy..." Hmmmmmmm! This IS the time of the Cure D'Ars, St Don Bosco, St Peter Julian Eymard, the French martyrs of China and Vietnam, Pius IX, Leo XIII, John Henry Newman!

But, who ever has been "worthy"? In any event, the offerer is not the ordained priest; the offerer is He who is Priest, Victim and Sacrifice - Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself. The question of "worthiness" of the man at the altar is moot! Mélanie's Lady does not seem to be aware of this!

Mélanie's Lady allegedly goes on to say: "The leaders, the guides of the people of God have neglected prayer and penance, and the demon has obscured their intelligence; they have become these wandering stars that the old devil will drag along with his tail to make them perish. God will permit the old serpent to place divisions among rulers, in all societies and in all families; physical and moral pains will be suffered; God will abandon men to themselves, and will send chastisements which will follow one after another for more than thirty-five years."

F.J.L.: Not just "some" leaders, but [all] leaders! And - it has been a pretty long 35 years from 1846!

[...]

"The wicked will make an attempt several times on his life (i.e. the life of the pope of the day. F.J.L.) without power to do harm to his days; but neither he, nor his successor [who will not reign long,] will see the triumph of the Church of God."

J.L.: The alleged "Secret" was given in 1846; a short form committed to writing in 1854 and sent to Pope Pius IX (1846-1878 = 32 years); his successor, Pope Leo XIII (1878-1903 = 25 years); his successor St. Pius X (1903-1914 = 11 years); his successor Benedict XV (1914-1922 = 8 years), etc. It must have been Benedict XV's reign being referred to as not "long"?

18. ‘In the year 1865, the abomination will be seen in holy places; in convents, the flowers of the Church will be decayed and the demon will make himself as the king of hearts. May those who are at the head of religious communities keep themselves on guard for persons whom they must receive, because the demon will use of all his malice in order to introduce into religious orders persons devoted to sin, for disorders and the love of carnal pleasures will be spread by all the earth.’

F.J.L.: It didn't happen!  Nor did "...Paris will be burned and Marseilles engulfed; ..." happen!

26. ‘It will be during this time that the antichrist will be born of a Hebrew religious, of a false Virgin who will have communication with the old serpent, the master of impurity; his father will be Bishop; at birth, he will vomit blasphemies, he will have teeth; in a word, this will be the devil incarnate; he will let out frightening cries, he will perform wonders, he will nourish himself only on impurities. He will have brothers who, although they will not be like him demons incarnate, will be children of evil; at 12 years, they will make themselves noticed by their brilliant victories which they will win; soon, they will each be at the head of armies, assisted by the legions of hell.’

"...antichrist will be [...] the devil incarnate;" Pardon me? Isn't this an impossibility?

28. ‘Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the antichrist.’

"Although the Catholic Church will never fall, there is no such guarantee about any particular local Church. It is VERY possible that history may repeat itself, with the true pope being in exile outside of Rome, while his proper throne is occupied by some antipope, even perhaps the antichrist. It wouldn't surprise me a bit. I kinda even expect it. Don't know if it'll be in my lifetime, of course, but I think it'll happen." Fr. Joe Horn, O.Praem.

F.J.L.: Pagan Rome? Yes. But, Rome as understood as the Church? No! The Pope plus even one or two faithful could constitute the Church - yes. But, the Church will always until the end of time have a true pope, and he will always be the Bishop of Rome. Yes, his physical throne in the Vatican City could be occupied by Antichrist - just as the antipope Anacletus II sat on the throne of Peter for 8 years, and was not disposed of it until his death. (Perhaps he even had a pretty good claim, anyway? )

"Lies" is a strong word; but this false apparitionist tendency was evident from the very beginning of the Medjugorje phenomenon:

1. Vicka claimed to have received a message in which Mary defended the innocence of two disobedient priests expelled by the authority of the Pope, one of whom subsequently fathered a child by a nun.

2. Ivanka and Mirjana lied as well. Fr. Laurentin admits that "the first two visionaries, Ivanka and Mirjana, held back for some time the fact that they were not only going to listen to some tapes that day (the day of the first "apparition"), but were actually planning to go and smoke..." (Cigarettes that they had stolen from their fathers.)

3. Vicka lied again, aided by perjury from her spiritual director. She lied to the bishop about her diary.

4. Vicka lied again, claiming that the BVM had said that she wanted a 100 bed hotel built - a statement used to squeeze money from benefactors.

5. Ivan lied to a Church Commission while studying to be a priest (he later flunked out of the seminary.

6. Marija lied and admitted it in writing - "my first declaration does not correspond with the truth."(July 11, 1988).

7. The Franciscans in Medjugorje are in a state of disobedience to Rome, and the apparitions have supported their disobedience. Now! God does not work against HIS own Church and Magisterium!!!

8. In defiance of the Bishop, a Church (Capjlina) was bricked shut and an illegal bishop brought in by the Franciscans who had been expelled by Pope John Paul II, but allegedly defended by Mary, according to Vicka.

9. In a frenzy, the devout followers of the Franciscans kidnapped the Bishop, ripped his pectoral cross from him, and held him captive until the Mayor used the United Nations to free him.

10. "Mary" told the "seers" that the "apparitions" would end on July 3, 1981.

11. Nor have the lies stopped; Medjugorje supporters make claims such as:

    "Pope John Paul II has said on more than one occasion that he believes in the visitations to Medjugorje and the holiness of the site. He has also visited there."

    The facts prove the opposite. There is nothing but second-hand hearsay produced by the Medjugorje supporters in support of such a claim. There is no way that the above allegation can be proven. Nor can it be proven that he has ever visited Medjugorje. Pope John Paul II HAS visited Yugoslavia, but never has he visited Medjugorje.

"Children of mine, keep awake, the time is at hand for the Son of Man to come down in all His glory to rescue His people; His faithful ones. Take heed of the call of your crucified Lord before it is too late.

The "Virgin" told the alleged stigmatic, Mary Ann, that if the Church did not approve the messages soon it would be too late. That was in 1950. It is now [2002] and they are still condemned. We have not seen any chastisement. Our friends told us that almost every week the messages were the "the last messages" but they went on and on anyway. And of course, as in all the other false apparitions, this one is the "last warning on earth" before the chastisement.
