Further to Replies from an Apparitionist Promoter of False Mystical Phenomena
Ted Flynn of MAXKOL, and Sign of the Times Apostolate
Relative to the Alleged Statement by The Virgin Mary that "Rome Will Lose The Faith And Become The Seat Of Antichrist"
Dialogue with Ted Flynn of MAXKOL, and Sign of the Times Apostolate
Ted Flynn of "MaxKol" and "Signs of the Times" responded to a request, (made to him to re-evaluate his promotion
of the false message attributed to the Blessed Birgin Mary at La Sallette in 1846 that: "Rome will lose the faith and
become the seat of antichrist") in the following way:

Subject: La Salette - Did the BVM say: "Rome will lose the Faith...etc"?
The message said what it said and is approved by the Church. we didn't make it up. the clergy killed it because it was critical of them Have you seen what is happening in Boston and elsewhere?
We suggest "you seriously ponder" what is going on around you and you may actually wake up.
MaxKol
The above would appear to be not untypical of the Ted Flynn attitude; consider the following cop-out
in respect of his apparent "throw-enough-mud-at-the-wall-and-some-of-it-might-stick" philosophy
in respect of his promotion of a myriad of alleged mystical phenomena. He glibly says:
"Note: The reader will need discernment in deciding whether or not the messenger and messages
are true. Many of the events foretold in these messages are CONDITIONAL and depend upon
PEOPLE'S RESPONSE to Heaven's warnings. Please ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in judging their
authenticity and importance in your life. MaxKol
| In other words: "Don't blame me is any of the phenomena are false (even diabolical!) We will not
take any responsibility, for we are only gatherers of information for YOUR discernment. Good luck! Have a nice day. |

I replied to his e-mail:
- Messages are inert - they are unable to speak. They may be recordings of what a person has
said. Those recordings may or may not be accurately recorded. In the case of La Salette, Melanie
Calvert's two recordings of the one event do not correspond. There is good reason to believe
that the second (1879) re-write was under the influence of an unbalanced mind. There is NO
evidence of Our Lady saying that "Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of Antichrist,"
beyond the 1879 writing of Melanie.
- The apparition of La Salette is deemed worthy of credence by the Church (initially by the local
Ordinary of Grenoble, and subsequently by the Pope). There is NO evidence to sustain your
statement (beyond your own words) that "The Message (in ANY form)...is approved by the
Church."
- It is evident that you have NOT read the file that I produced, for therein IS evidence that the Church (as recorded in the "Acts of The Apostolic See"), has placed the writings of the Melanieists on the Index of Forbidden Books.
- The Bishop of Lecce's 1879 Imprimatur is now worthless! First of all, he was not the bishop to whom the Holy Spirit enlightens with the charism appropriate for alleged or actual apparitions; that charism belongs first of all to the local Ordinary - in this case the Bishop of Grenoble. Secondly, the prohibition as recorded in the Acts of the Apostolic See trumped the Bishop of Leece's Imprimatur.
- If "the clergy killed it" then, logically, it could not revive!!!
- "Have (I) seen what is happening in Boston and elsewhere?" As I live in Australia, and as I have never been to Boston - the answer to the first part of the question is "NO"! Have I seen what is going on elsewhere?" Please! I do not involve myself in mindless guessing games! You need to be more specific.
- Well, if you actually "looked" at my website Mr Flynn, I think that you would be forced to agree that I have been awake for some time.
- Generally, I find that closed minds are the result of vested interest - such as hysteria
and/or money. What a pity! About 25 years ago, when my family was attending a Latin Mass
in one of the halls next to a Catholic Church, one of the country boys, who also attended that
Mass, challenged my pre-pubescent son to "a fight around the back of the hall where God
can't see us"! Ridiculous? Yes. But that is precisely your attitude. God CAN see all our actions
and thoughts. No doubt that it would take an enormous amount of courage to admit being
wrong; but I know just one such man who has done so; he wrote:
"I have read your entire enclosure and must say that you are correct and I am wrong. I did
know something about Melanie's later life but did not know that she wrote this then nor did I
know that it was condemned. The section on Rome losing the faith I just attributed to the
City as I am Italian and have spent many months there and know it to be very communistic
and immoral.
I did not attribute it to the Vatican. Nonetheless I wish to apologize, correct this on my web
site, and reference your article. I also checked out the rest of the things on your web site
and agree with everything I read.
If you find other things that I must correct, I would be very grateful.
Respectfully yours
Rick Salbato"
Maybe you don't "like" Rick Salbato - but I admire him on two counts:
- he combats false visionaries and false apparitions, and
- he is honest.
But, what do we know of Ted Flynn that would allow the honor of the Blessed Virgin
to be dimished with the false and condemned "Secret of La Salette"?

Publishing provides some background information:
NEW INFORMATION ON FALSE SEERS
TED AND MAUREEN FLYNN "SIGNS OF THE TIMES"
One of the reasons we went to Fatima is that Ted and Maureen Flynn organized a "Day of
Prayer and Fasting" in Washington DC for the right to life movement called "International
Coalition for the Triumph". Claiming that they needed a lot of money to promote this trip to
Washington, they collected hundreds of thousands of dollars. We knew that they did not use
this money for the day of prayer and fasting, and that they did not even pay the publisher f
or the printed material. They also claimed to have many people as co-sponsors, who when
asked in writing returned to us written responses that they never gave their permission to
use their names. In preparation for a class action law suit against the collection of this money
for false claims and false co-sponsors we noticed that Lucia of Fatima was also listed as
having offered to be the Spiritual Godmother of the day of prayer and fasting. Knowing that
Lucia does not give her name to something unless she knows a great deal about it, and even
then not without the approval of her Mother Superior and her Bishop, we went to see
Lucia.
We received a signed and sealed document from the Mother Superior as follows:
"J.M.J.T. = Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Teresa
Monastery of Saint Teresa
Cloistered Discalced Nuns
Coimbra
The Peace of Christ
I, Sister Maria Celina of Jesus Crucified, Prioress of this Carmel, declare that, when Sister
Maria Lucia sends a printed card, on which she accuses the reception of some letter, promising
to pray of the intentions of the person who has written, this does not mean that she approves
of the conduct of the same person or movement that they may belong to.
Note that many times she does not even get to know the totality of the content of letters,
especially when it is in a foreign language.
Carmel of Saint Teresa, 22nd of February, 2001
(Seal of the Order)
(Signed)
Sister Maria Celina, icd = Discalced Carmelite Sister"
To add to this testimony, Carlos Evaristo gave us a signed document as follows:
"Thank you for your letter. Yes, I have been Sister Lucia's interpreter on occasion and even
acted as her bodyguard many times. Being one of her confidants, I can say in answer to your
question: "If Sister Lucia of Fatima has ever agreed to be Spiritual Godmother for an American
Apostolate known as the 'International Coalition for the Triumph?'; that I have no knowledge
of Sister Lucia ever having agreed to be Spiritual Godmother for any Portuguese or foreign
Apostolate or movement.
Anyone writing her to request such a sponsorship would likely receive a printed card which
would simply state that she has received the person's letter, and is in union of prayers with
their intentions. This in no way would imply acceptance of any proposal made to her.
In order to clarify this further for you, I have taken the liberty of contacting the Coimbra
Carmel where Sister Lucia resides, and requested of the Prioress, an official statement to this
effect, the original of which is sealed, and I enclose as proof.
Since it is written in the Portuguese language, I have taken the opportunity of translating it
for you. I am also a Government and Court approved translator.
Yours sincerely,
Signed
Carlos Evaristo, C.V.V.

- Here are a couple of exerpts from "Double Cross" website:
- Ted and Maureen Flynn run "Sign of the Times" magazine. Over many years they have
promoted false visionaries with the full knowledge that they are not authentic!
- In the last 12 months the Flynns have threatened to sue anyone who attempts to question or investigate
their operation. They have never been truthful or given an explanation, especially on the situation of Marv
Kucera, "We have ceased publication of his books and materials. However we have been accused of
promoting false visionaries in the past. We wish to point out that we are not in the business of checking
out ones past credentials, we are merely agents and promoters."
- More from Rick Salbato of Unity Publishing:
A LESSON FOR THE "EXPERTS"
We address this report to all the former Medjugorje Centers, which are now called "Marian Centers", because
we have read the marvelous book, "Dear Marian Movement" by William Reck. Although it has no kind words
for our Managing Editor, Rick Salbato, and it still hangs on to some unapproved apparitions, it does advise the
followers of apparitions to use a little more caution and discernment.
What probably prompted Bill Reck to take a second look at himself and the movement was his promotion of
Marvin Kucera. The Riehle Foundation was the first major distributor of his books, "MY HEART AWAITS
YOU", printing book one and two. When they dropped the books, QUEENSHIP PUBLISHING picked them
up and are still pumping them out.
The believers of Marvin Kucera are a great example of gullible people. But more than that, he is a perfect example
that those who pass themselves off as experts in apparitions should not be trusted. An example would be Ted
and Maureen Flynn of "SIGNS OF OUR TIMES" magazine, who were Marvin’s biggest promoters. But the
web Marvin wove goes all over the country, into all the Marian Centers, EWTN, the 101 Foundations, the
Riehle Foundation, Queenship, "The Final Hour" by Michael H. Brown, "Call of the Ages" by Thomas W.
Petrisko, and on and on. All the so-called experts (that the gullible flock look up to for advice and information)
followed and believed Marv.
JUST A CON-MAN
What is sad about the followers of Marvin Kucera is that he was nothing but a con artist from the beginning. He
had two felonies before he met with his "conversion". One felony was for immoral and lud solicitation, and the
other for embezzlement. He is an admitted homosexual. What you are about to read will prove that he never had
any intention of doing anything except to con people out of their land and money, and to become a god in the
process. Many false seers are fooled themselves by what they really think is inner voices (actually just their own
imagination), but Marvin Kucera knew what he was doing from the beginning.
- MaxKol - "The Thunder Of Justice", Chapter 2, contains a list of Marian Apparition sites
which, they state "is by no means exhaustive or conclusive." I have snipped the pre-1940 group for space reasons.

Where Have All The Communists Gone?
"RENEW"
[ . . . ]
A (Communist?) BISHOP IN ROME
Communist priest, AA-1025, said they had a bishop in Rome who was one of them. We can only
speculate who that might be. There are many who fit the profile. Bishop Hnilica is one. He was
supposed to have been ordained a priest at the age of 25 and then a bishop one month later behind
the iron curtain. He immediately left for Rome supposedly to save his life, and arrived in Rome without
proof of ordination, because he claimed, "I could not travel with such papers." Although never
working for (or with) the Vatican, Hnilica made many friends of other bishops in the Vatican. He even
offered to take money to Poland's Solidarity Union through the underground for the Holy Father. This
he did, but no one knows if the money ever got to Solidarity. Since then he has gotten sticky fingers.
Aside from his obvious involvement in the Vatican Bank Scandal in the early 80s, when he tried to
buy Calvi's briefcase after Calvi (Mafia) was found hanging from a bridge in London in 1982, so-called
"Bishop" Hnilica paid two million dollars for the briefcase, and then was found laundering money in and
out of Medjugorje on a regular basis since the mid 80's. One of Hnilica's secretaries, a man named
Luciano Alimandi, went into America seeking a visionary to use for Hnilica's new plan of scimming
money off Medjugorje using his Pro Fratribus organization, later Pro Deo Et Fratribus, as the front.
Luciano found a self proclaimed mystic named Christine Mugridge studying theology at Stubenville
University along with members of Pro Deo Et Fratribus. Luciano brought Christine Mugridge to Denver,
Colorado where he could pick between four female visionaries: Christine Mugridge, Veronica Garcia,
Sylvia Greoger, and Theresa Lopez. He dumped Christine Mugridge for Theresa Lopez, who he felt
was the more attractive and who he could form a "spiritual union" with. After this "spiritual union
[sex]" sealed their contract, Bishop Hnilica moved in. Hnilica arrived in Denver by May of 1992.
Father Michael Walsh and his brother, Father Larry Walsh had been indoctrinated into the
Renew/Amchurch program by Rachel Bresnahan at St. Thomas More Church in Denver. It was at St.
Thomas More Church in Denver that Pro Deo Et Fratribus was set up by Hnilica. They needed
publicity, so in steps Ted Flynn, who had spent several years in the Eastern Bloc Countries as some
kind of consultant. Ted Flynn runs an operation known as "Maxlor" and his wife, Maurine Flynn,
publishes a magazine called, "Signs of The Times", which promotes every visionary in the world
including pedophile, Marvin Kucera. Richard Hrpsha, also from Eastern Europe got involved, and
"Catholic Evangelization Mission for Russia" was formed with a $200,000,000 business plan. Hrpsha
went off with the Marvin Kucera Refuges and fleeced millions from good Catholics. Hnilica now has
refuges and communes all over the world where people and their money just seem to disappear.
What a great way to suck the best Catholics out of the Church and fleece them out of all of their
assets. Call To Action, Amchurch, Communist? Maybe! This could explain why Luciano Alimandi was
able to arrange a face to face meeting with the NCCB in Washington, DC in order to clear the way f
or Hnilica to enter the U.S. and fund raise. Follow the money from CEM, to QAMA, to Medjugorje, to
Our Lady of All Nations, to Amchurch, to International Renew.
WHO FINANCED THESE MOVEMENTS
Communist priest AA-1025 said,
"My funds were practically unlimited. I financed leftist reviews and also a large number of journalists,
who performed excellent work afterwards. All my hopes laid principally on alternate schemes, which I
had suggested through much advanced and audacious theologians. Finally, thanks to my zeal and
especially to the money which I spent as if it were inexhaustible, the modernist schemes were brought
in secretly to the Council and presented with audacity to replace the official ones."
We know that Communists financed RENEW and CHRIST AMONG US, and can only speculate what
else. One must wonder where Fr. Gobbi got all the money to give away millions of copies of his book,
or where (ex-Father) Gruner got the money to give away his "Fatima Crusader" magazine, or where
the Charismatic Movement got the money to expand all over the world in such a short time, or
where Medjugorje got the money to create 300 centers in the United States. Bishop Hnilica
deposited and withdrew Italian Lire into the billions between 1987 and 1998. Where did this money
come from? Bishop Hnilica never had a diocese. He never had a congregation. He never had a job.
Where did he get the millions that went through his hands and all the retreat centers he owns?
Was he financed by the Communists? What did he have to do when the money stopped? Medjugorje
and Theresa Lopez?
Well! With a failure rate such as the above, I believe that one would be entitled to wonder when
Mr & Mrs Flynn will really evaluate their past performances, and take stock of their real agenda!
Lord save us from "false prophets" promoting "false prophets"!
